PLUS GALLERY PRESS NOTICES

Throughout Plus Gallery’s 13 year history operating within two physical locations in Denver’s transformative River North Arts District, the exhibitions, artists represented and experimental performance series consistently received a wide array of reviews and press notices through physical print publications and newspapers, at a time largely prior to online links. Eventually some of the most notable may be added to this site. The pinnacle achievement throughout the gallery’s history came in 2009 when we undertook a major renovation of a parcel of the historic Benjamin Moore Paint Factory at the forefront of the RiNo District to create a high quality, intimate exhibition space for the program to serve the caliber of artists represented. Following the renovation, the Denver Post named Plus as the “Gallery of the Year,” and other prominent publications in Denver solidified the response with additional coverage of the gallery and renovation. The gallery thrived largely because of the attention received by the press at a time in history when that added value to artist careers as well as operations that supported them, like Plus Gallery, a phase in everyone’s life that is largely over.
