Denver Digerati is a special initiative I founded in 2013 while serving as the Creative Director for the Denver Theatre District. The organization was developed specifically to support digital animation and motion artists who were primarily focused in utilizing technology to create works of extraordinary imagination. The initiative developed through having direct access to public LED displays that were being placed into the core of downtown Denver, with the goal of presenting arts based activations in a meaningful capacity.
I had the profound opportunity to showcase the work of hundreds of artists through my time developing the project and through the annual Supernova Digital Animation Festival, which ran for 7 solid years, and was noted in 2022 as one of the top 10 annual animation events internationally for animators to attend by BUSINESS OF ANIMATION.
